Hire terms & conditions

All rates published on this website are indicative depot-collection rates in Namibian dollars and exclude fuel, operator hire and delivery unless stated otherwise.

A hire is confirmed only when the depot issues a written quotation or hire agreement and any required deposit has been received.

Daily hire is charged per 24-hour period or part thereof. Weekly and monthly tiers are charged at the published multipliers and must be agreed in writing before delivery.

The hire period starts at collection or delivery and ends when the machine is returned to the depot and inspected.

Machines are supplied full of fuel and must be returned full. Refuelling shortfalls are charged at the prevailing depot rate plus a handling fee.

Delivery and collection are quoted per site. The hirer is responsible for safe, reasonable vehicle access to the site.

The hirer is responsible for the equipment from the moment it leaves the depot until it is returned, and must operate it only for its intended purpose by competent persons.

Damage caused by misuse, overloading, unauthorised modifications or operation by untrained persons is charged to the hirer.

If a machine fails through no fault of the hirer, report it to the depot immediately. We will repair or swap the unit as soon as reasonably possible during depot hours.

Hire charges continue to accrue while a machine is awaiting repair unless the depot agrees otherwise in writing.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the agreed dispatch time are refunded in full. Later cancellations may forfeit the delivery portion of the quotation.

Titan Plant & Equipment Hire is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, hired equipment. The hirer indemnifies Titan against claims arising from the operation of the equipment on site.
